Le rallye des Acores fait office de la première manche sur terre en European Rally Championship pour l’équipage Charles Martin et Thierry Salva. Un petit ennui mécanique est venu perturber les objectifs fixés mais l’équipage a pu, malgré tout, rejoindre l’arrivée du premier jour. En restant concentré les jours suivants, l’équipe a réalisé, régulièrement, des temps dans le top 5 pour finalement remonter à la 10ième place générale. Un important apprentissage sur cette épreuve à la fois prestigieuse et très piégeuse. Félicitations au second équipage, C.Breen & S.Martin, et à toute l’équipe, pour leur troisième victoire de rang ainsi qu’à D.Gago & J.Carvalho pour leur deuxième place en Junior, derrière un C.Ingram impressionnant. Rendez-vous à Ypres pour la prochaine manche du championnat d’Europe des rallyes!
Sata Rally Acores was the first gravel heat in European Rally Championship for Charles Martin et Thierry Salva. A mechanical problem disturbs the aims fixed, but the crew was able to reach the finish of the first day. Staying focus the following days, the crew realised times in the top 5 to finish 10th overall. An important learning on this prestigious and tricky rally. Congratulations to the other crew, C.Breen & S.Martin, and at all the team, for their third victory in rank, also to D.Gago & J.Carvalho for the second position in the Junior championship behind an awesome C.Ingram.
